Expanding our recycling programme

The Smith&Smith^® recycling programme has been in place for several years now but we’re always looking for ways to improve and make better conscious decisions to help keep Aotearoa clean and green.

Recently we’ve been working away to launch our recycling programme with even more of our Authorised Dealers around the country. We're proud to say that all our corporate branches and many of our Authorised Dealer network are diverting vehicle glass waste from landfill, with approximately 85% of our windscreen glass recycled in 2020. Our customers’ old vehicle glass is being recycled into a range of things from bottles, glass wool insulation, pool filters and is even being used for sandblasting, who would have thought?
