Gold 2023 EcoVadis Sustainability Rating
EcoVadis is a world-leading environmental, social and ethical business performance rating scorecard, assessing businesses on 21 recognised sustainability criteria. We are proud to share with our customers that Belron New Zealand* has been awarded a 2023 EcoVadis Gold Medal for our sustainability performance. This achievement, our fifth in a row, puts us among the top 5% of global companies assessed by EcoVadis.
EcoVadis assesses more than 100,000 companies in over 175 countries. The assessment is an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability/CSR into their business and management systems. The assessment looked at how we care for our people, our commitments to business ethics, the environment and how we check the sustainability of our supply chain.
Our 2023 result of 76 out of 100 is a three-point improvement on our 2022 score. EcoVadis commended a number of improvements we have made, like developing our Responsible Business Programme. This programme sets out to deliver on our purpose that we ‘make a difference with real care’ for our customers, our people, our shareholders and society. Other areas of recognition were for our environmental initiatives e.g. electric vehicles and our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
